Joy. Range. Soul.
Joy. Range. Soul. is Kaleidoscope Quartet’s debut album. All nine tracks (eight studio, one live) are one-on-a-part and sung a cappella. Drawn from the group’s 2023 program, this music reflects a period of deepening friendship and creative discovery; Jack, Taylor, Ian, and Dana formed KQ to celebrate the life of Dana’s departed wife, Cheryl, and their reception at the memorial service persuaded them to continue, and see how far they could take this unique blend of male a cappella music. This album’s name is the core of the KQ sound.
